We’re pleased to have had a mention on the Loaf facebook page! We loved using their products in our Montford Place project – check it out!
Each year we take on several work experience students from local colleges and schools, asking them to select a ‘fantasy’ project they’d like to work on. In the past they’ve ranged from redesigning bedrooms, living rooms and even student accommodation.
We’ve recently had student Izzy Hayes on a two week work experience placement. We’ve been really impressed and taken with the challenging project Izzy chose to undertake – redesigning The Hambledon (our favourite homewares and fashion store in town), and turning it back into a house.
We love the fresh and bold design boards, which have added a bit of extra colour to the office along with Izzy’s enthusiasm!
Here’s what Izzy has to say about the project; and check out her fantastic boards below. We think she has a fab design career ahead of her!
“I spent my time at Etre re-designing the interior of a shop, The Hambledon into the perfect house. I ordered samples of tiles and materials and used Pinterest to find furniture and furnishings. Each one of my rooms had a slightly different style but overall I wanted the house to just be minimal, comfortable and light, I was really pleased with the results. Everyone at Etre is so lovely and I loved my work experience!”
We’re super pleased to be in print in 3D, in the form of our logo on the hoarding of our project at Walcote Chambers in Winchester.
Work is currently in progress to create some stunning dwellings so watch this space for updates. Thanks to Walcote Chambers Developments and Charters Commercial for the logo space – it’s a pleasure to work with you!
Etre are pleased to be in this issue of House Beautiful magazine – with a 4 page spread on a Winchester cottage interior we completed last year. The brief was to create a contemporary open plan space, that could house a collection of vintage and 1950s accessories. The former millers cottage was transformed into a light and airy space, with bespoke shelving, kitchen and furniture. We love the sunny retro yellow!
We’re delighted to have been asked by Aylesworth Fleming to provide the copy and content for the interior design section in their brochure for Linden Homes.
We’re doing the show apartment (pictures shortly!), and the double page spread communicates the styling, theme and visuals from the show apartment. We’ve selected some of our favourite suppliers and product for the editorial style article, lighting from Jim Lawrence, fabrics from Dedar and furniture from OKA.
We’re looking forward to seeing a printed copy!
We’re super pleased to have a mention on the Jim Lawrence lighting website, for our use of the club wall lights in a recent project.
We love their products and used 13 of their club lights, situating them above feature artwork throughout the bistro.
Head on over to their website to check out the rest of their range!
